When it comes to online marketing and affiliate marketing there are certain do’s and don’ts.  This article is a list of the three things to not do in Affiliate Marketing.  When it comes to Affiliate Marketing it is a straight forward science.  You use the right keywords and those keywords are in your site, you will get the right visitor s to bring the conversion rates of your website up.

• The first thing you should be careful of in Affiliate Marketing is who you Affiliate with. 

You are known by who you hang out with as I tell my children and who they pick as friends.  The same thing goes with Affiliate Marketing.  If you pick an affiliate that has a poorly designed sloppy website it falls back on you and your Online Business.  In return you can Market that Affiliate with all of your heart and sole, but you will eventually be no more than a salesman promoting a product that does not work. 

Here is a good tip.  Pick a good product to Affiliate yourself with.  Donald Trump and all of the millionaires are not hanging out with the homeless in the streets.  Place your goals high, and shoot for the standards. Do your research on the company, make contact with them, associate your business with them first and build that relationship.  Know the product and what it can do and what it cannot do. 

It would be less costly for you in your Online Marketing Campaigns to work with one or two of your affiliates and really know what they offer and even use their services this method brings two pluses to your advantage.

1.  You know the program or product.  You know how it works, what to do with it, how to incorporate it into your business.

2.  People will look to you as a knowledgeable person in your affiliate.  If they ask you a question it can be noted you have the answers.

Watch the amount of Affiliate Programs you sign up for.  This creates a big loss of interest.  Most new Online Businesses today try to grab as many affiliates as they can and it brings them to a staging point of exhaustion and confusion.  Focus on one and then the next.  In doing so you bring your affiliate strength together as a force of a well rounded knowledgeable Promoter.

The Third thing you do not do is promote something you would not use. You do not promote what you do not believe in and logic is if you do not use it then you do not believe in it.  If you want to make it in the Online Affiliate Marketing area then you have to avoid these three simple traps that end up costing most Affiliate Marketers more than they ever expected, to some the point of giving up as an Online Business.
